EPHESIANS 4:12 -13
“…to equip [God’s] people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.”
We have a vibrant and welcoming Women’s Ministry team at Menai Anglican Church. It is led by women who wish to give the opportunity to ladies of all ages, cultures and backgrounds to grow in the knowledge of God’s Word.
By teaching God’s Word, we believe the Holy Spirit will motivate women to encourage and support others and to be involved in social justice issues that are God honouring. We also have lots of fun and laughter along the way – friendships are created and strengthened and we all learn from one another.
What happens in Women’s Ministry?
- Annual Women’s Conference and Hot Topic evenings: A wonderful time for all women to gather and learn from one another.
- Visit conferences together: We often attend the “Women’s Equip Conference” here in Sydney. In the past we’ve organised to participate in the conference both at the venue and via livestream at church to make it accessible for all women.
- Women’s Christianity Explored courses: These are run in small groups over several weeks, introducing the foundations of Christianity, and giving an opportunity to ask questions and participate in group discussion
- Christmas events: A relaxed afternoon or evening of craft, conversation and hearing from an engaging speaker on topics close to women’s hearts. These are wonderful events to invite a friend along to.
