At Menai Anglican we love celebrating the birth of our Saviour, Jesus Christ!
We’d love to welcome you at one (or more) of our Christmas services this year.

Christmas Services 2025
Joy to the World!
We all long for joy that doesn’t fade when the presents are opened or the lights come down.
This Christmas at Menai Anglican, discover the joy that lasts — found in Jesus, who came to bring peace, hope, and life to the world.
Family Christmas Eve
5pm, Wed 24th Dec
Celebrate Christmas together at our all-ages Family Christmas Service. Enjoy singing beloved carols and hearing the timeless story of Jesus’ birth. Children sit with their families as we share in the joy and wonder of Christmas. All are welcome!
Late Christmas Eve
11pm, Wednesday 24th Dec
Stay up late and bring-in Christmas Day with a joyful and reflective service. On this special day of the year there’s nowhere better to be when the clock rolls over to midnight.
Christmas Day
8.30am, Thursday 25th Dec
The best way to start Christmas Day – celebrating together the birth of our wonderful Saviour. What a thrill of hope for a weary world! There will be some activities provided for the younger kids at this service. Tea and coffee available afterwards. We’d love to see you there!

Blue Christmas – Tuesday 23rd Dec, 7.30 – 8:30pm
A quieter and more reflective Christmas service. For some, Christmas may be a particularly difficult time of year for many different reasons. This service is an opportunity to reflect on the year that has been, remember loved ones, and also thank God for his comfort and great promises.
“Christmas is supposed to sound like joy. Bells ringing, laughter rising, light filling the night. But for many, this season plays in a minor key. There are empty chairs at the table, photos that ache to look at, and memories that stir both gratitude and grief. We smile because others do, but sometimes behind that smile is a heart quietly breaking. “This child will be opposed… and a sword will pierce your soul too.” What a strange pairing, joy and pain side by side. But that’s the gospel rhythm: glory through suffering, resurrection through death, redemption through the cross. Christmas reminds us that God doesn’t avoid our pain. He steps into it.“
– Keats Davaram, Student Minister

Carols Service – Sunday 21st Dec, 6pm
We’ve had Carols on the Lawn. This service, however, is inside and the focus is all about singing the carols and rejoicing in the birth of Jesus. With exceptional music, this is a night to look forward to.
