SUMMARY:June Thanksgiving
DESCRIPTION:We continue a tradition at this church of focusing on thanksgiving during June. When the days are colder and shorter\, we find more reason to rejoice in what God has done. This year we focus our thanksgiving on who God is. We also seek tangible corporate expressions of our thankfulness to God: food\, gifts and prayers. \n\n                                    Though the fig tree does not bud \n                                                and there are no grapes on the vines\, \n                                    though the olive crop fails \n                                                and the fields produce no food\, \n                                    though there are no sheep in the pen \n                                                and no cattle in the stalls\, \n                                    yet I will rejoice in the LORD\, \n                                                I will be joyful in God my Saviour.    (Habakkuk 3:17-18) \n\nWe aim to rejoice deeply towards God in every part of our hearts and in the gathering of all God’s people.

SUMMARY:EVERYBODY EATS (For Sunday 8.30 & Sunday 10.30 services)
DESCRIPTION:Sharing a meal was a big deal to Jesus because it was a chance to deepen relationships\, welcome strangers and invite the outcast. So by participating in Everybody Eats we too can express the serving\, welcoming love He showed towards us.  \n\nEverybody Eats is lots of fun where everybody from every congregation is eating together in different locations around the local area.  This is a great opportunity to share a meal with a group of people from your weekend service.  For the month of June Everybody Eats will be experienced in every congregation.\n\nFor the Sunday Morning services we will eat together over the weekend of June 19 -21. You have the option to be a host or a guest and the Everybody Eats team matches the hosts with the guests. It’s that easy!\n\nHow to be part of the Sunday Morning services Everybody Eats excitement? Register your name by completing the Everybody Eats form here and we will get back to you close to the date.  Registration  will close on 7th June.
