Women’s Ministry

EPHESIANS 4: 12 -13

TO PREPARE GOD’S PEOPLE FOR WORKS OF SERVICE, SO THAT THE BODY OF CHRIST MAY BE BUILT UP UNTIL WE REACH UNITY IN THE FAITH AND IN THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE SON OF GOD AND BECOME MATURE ATTAINING TO THE WHOLE MEASURE OF THE FULLNESS OF CHRIST”.

We have a vibrant and welcoming Women’s Ministry team. It is led by women who wish to give the opportunity to ladies of all ages, cultures and backgrounds to grow in the knowledge of God’s Word.

By teaching God’s Word, we believe the Holy Spirit will motivate women to encourage and support others and to be involved in social justice issues that are God honouring. We also have lots of fun and laughter along the way – friendships are created and strengthened and we all learn from one another.

EXAMPLES OF WHAT WE GET UP TO…

Our Annual Women’s Conference and Hot Topic evenings are a wonderful time for all women to gather and learn from one another.

We also visit conferences together, such as the “Women’s Equip Conference” here in Sydney. This year we organised two groups. One group was the “Away” group taking the train to the venue at Darling Harbour and the other was the “Home” group, watching the conference live stream on the church site.

This year we had opportunities to invite our friends to the Annual Women’s Dinner, Women’s Christianity Explored courses and coming soon the Women’s Christmas event.
We are hoping to participate in the charity “Menai Fun Run” which is held every year on Australia Day. We hope friendships will grow as we train, chat and walk as the “MAC Power Walkers”.
